Hey! Sounds like a frustrating loop, especially since you've already done everything on the list. A few things worth trying before anything else:
If it still redirects after that, I'd open a ticket with GitHub Support (support.github.com, Education option). Include your username and the screenshots you posted, and say you've completed every requirement from the rejection notice. If something is wrong on the account side, only they can fix it. Let us know how it goes! |

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hello everyone!
I'm having an issue with my GitHub Education application, and I'd appreciate any help or advice.
My previous student applications were rejected because GitHub couldn't verify my academic status. The rejection notice asked me to complete the following requirements:
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
Update my GitHub profile name to match my full name on my academic document.
Complete my billing information using the same name and country, without needing to add a payment method.
Submit my academic affiliation document using my device camera.
I've already completed the account-related requirements, including enabling 2FA, updating my profile and billing information, verifying my email address, and signing out and back in.
However, when I return to my GitHub Education Benefits page and click “Start an application,” I'm redirected to the GitHub pricing page instead of the application form.
I've also tried accessing the application directly, but I'm still unable to proceed.
Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution? Is this a technical problem with the reapplication process, or is there another requirement I might have missed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
