Follow symlink in /blob/ view?

A weblink such as https://github.com/mirabilos/dygraphs/blob/debian/LICENSE.txt (which is generated from a simple [label](./LICENSE.txt) in README.md does not follow symlinks. Incidentally, the “View license” thing in the right-hand-side “About” box also only arrives there.

However, due to $reasons I had to change this into a symbolic link (mostly to avoid duplication with debian/copyright).

Is there any query parameter I could add to the link that enables the GitHub web UI to automatically follow symbolic links when the blob it encounters is one?

FWIW the file in question is no longer a symlink, but https://github.com/mirabilos/dygraphs/blob/debian/favicon.ico is, and https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mirabilos/dygraphs/refs/heads/debian/favicon.ico is also just plain broken.
