you may need to provide additional information to verify your identity and prove that your account is legitimate.Meaning, you need to reach out to Railway support team to explain the situation. Another way to solve this problem is to wait for your GitHub account to establish a history of activity and have more repos hosted on it, which will increase the account's reputation and make it more trustworthy. |

Hey there! 👋 Thanks for posting in the GitHub Community, @Raul1551! We're happy you're here. You are more likely to get a useful response if you are posting your question in the applicable category. The Accessibility category is a place for our community to discuss and provide feedback on the digital accessibility of GitHub products. Digital accessibility means that GitHub tools, and technologies, are designed and developed so that people with disabilities can use them. I've gone ahead and moved this to the correct category for you. Good luck! |

I am also facing the same problem while verifying my GitHub account in railway app |

solved? |

I got the same message, I went on my email used for GitHub and searched in old emails but couldn't find an email saying "Verify your address". I thought maybe I deleted the email since I delete emails to clear storage, so I went on and changed my Github's primary address to my private email (Github menu>Settings>Emails) so I can get the verification email again and then 10s later I got new email saying "Verify your account" and I did it! P.S. still couldn't connect my Github acc with Railway App, because I get the message "This GitHub account has previously been connected to a different Railway account. Please use that account or delete it in order to use this GitHub account with the current Railway account.". I logged in with my university's acc and deleted the acc on Railway and then logged in with private mail, but I still get this same message. Anyone that can help? |

Hi everyone, I have investigated it deeper. By revoking the Railway connection from GitHub in Settings > Applications > Authorized GitHub Apps,
|
|
my account @ railway is verified and i subscribed to developer plan |
|
I have purchased the Railway account (Developer Plan) but not able to verify my account |
|
I got the developer plan but still can't verify my account. That's so frustrating. |
|
I got the same thing railway keep saying "Unverified GitHub account" ??? this is my old acc and work acc at the same time AND its verified acc by github a long.. time ago, so frustrating. |
|
Figured out a solution if you added your card for the developer plan.
Enjoy |
|
i hope im not reviving a dead post but
also make sure your real email address isn't set to private in your github account settings. i also changed that so not sure which one helped. |

Well, about that, I had this problem too, even though a partner who had recommended her about the same age as my Github account went without any problems |

Hello you all, Well what I did I went to GitHib to revoke Railway conection Settings > Applications > Authorized GitHub Apps, Then when I clicked on authorize in Railway in the screen to authorize Railtway to connect with GitHub I didn't click on the green button "Authorized" I clicked on "read more about this side" or something like that above the this green button, I took me to a github page where I could install Railway in GitHub and then I clicked on the green button, and it worked!!!! |
|
Encountered this issue, what I did was to go to Account Settings > Account Integrations > Configure repo access (under github) and then approve some new permissions on Github and voila it went back to normal. |

Hey guys. I had the saim problem but i fix it. Firstly you must have min 15 repos and your account must have some activityes for last 6 mounths(commit, push etc.). If you have all of this, just delete your account and create new, using sign up with git. It is work for me. |

This is ridiculous and still happens. |

I discovered that I had tried to grant Railway access to a repository in Github private organization when I was only a member of that organization. I had to be an owner of the Github organization when I made the request from Railway. Then the request was granted and Railway could access the repository. |

Hello everyone, I have the following problem:
I have created a new GitHub account and hosted several repos on it, so far so good. The problem starts when I want to upload my repos to Railway and this platform tells me that the GitHub account cannot be verified for being too new or for having risky repos, which I don't understand very well.
Could you explain me why this happens and how can I solve it?
Thank you very much in advance
