Is it possible to search for multiple authors at once in the PR search?

I'd like to be able to search for any PRs created by Author1 or Author2 like this

is:PR (author:user1 OR author:user2)

Or like this

is:PR author:user1 author:user2

But this always gets re-written as

is:PR author:user2

Is there a way to do this in the Issue / Pull Request search

Adding another author to the query (is:PR author:user1 author:user2) works. But it only works in https://github.com/search. You can also use top-left search bar. Simply go to the repository and search like this: is:open is:pr author:KyleMit author:OtherAuthor

Can we for the love of god add sections in the pull requests section? I want my teams PRS view to be separate from everyone elses

author:user1 OR author:user2

There you can write the following:
repo:MYREPO is:open is:pr author:USER1 author:USER2

Apparently something like is:pr author:user1 OR author:user2 does work in the search bar on the "Issues" tab, but not on the "Pull requests" tab. Note the uppercase OR (lowercase or does not work).

However, if you want to search using the top-level search bar (/), the OR does not work.
In this case you'll need is:pr author:user1 author:user2.

FWIW, what worked for me is searching in the search bar with is:pr is:open author:user1 author:user2.
It then showed hundreds of results. But, when I went to the Issues tab, I could see all the open PRs by the two users (user1 and user2)
