Non-governmental organization: Request for Access to GitHub Copilot's Voice-to-Code Feature #56438
-
Select Topic AreaGeneral BodyDear GitHub Copilot Team, We hope this note finds you well. We recently watched a video on YouTube showcasing the new Voice-to-Code feature (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk7UdqoZUDk). We were thrilled to see its potential for making coding more accessible for developers with mobility impairments. Increasing productivity with less typing on a keyboard seems what we're looking for. We're itgrarte, an Argentinian NGO whose goal is to create real opportunities in technology for people with disabilities. We are aware of the accessibility barriers in digital content and training platforms, and we believe that technology can eliminate those barriers. At itgrarte, we contribute to training new tech professionals that can respond to the high demand in the technology sector. We are interested in accompanying people with disabilities in their learning, supporting them, and enhancing their skills. As such, we would like to request access to the Voice-to-Code feature of GitHub Copilot. We believe that this tool will not only benefit our organization but also the larger community of people with disabilities who are interested in pursuing a career in technology. As you state in the video demo, we would also love to provide you with some feedback and help you build a better tool. Best regards, Martin Di Luzio |

Hi @mdiluzio , Thanks for posting on GitHub Community. I'd recommend that you submit your interest by joining the waitlist and we will do our best to accommodate your request without specific timelines to provide access in place. I have asked my team to look into this as well. |
