Simply remove an organization access from your repository and detach yourself automatically that way and on your contributions. do same too. I think this should be able to work out, if you've a GitHub App already set up and installed on your personal GitHub application then you should have the same functionality for your website as the GitHub page and the following code in your browser as shown below for your web page. |
|
Delete Your Comment: Disassociate from Organization: Go to the organization's main page. Remove the Repository from Your Profile: Go to your GitHub profile. |
|
The process of deleting or hiding a contribution from your profile depends on the platform or service you're using. Here are general steps that might apply to various platforms: Social Media Platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram): Navigate to the post or contribution you want to delete. Find the post or contribution you want to remove. Go to your profile and locate the post or contribution you want to hide or delete. Access your blog post or contribution through your dashboard. If applicable, open the document or repository containing your contribution. For product listings, you can often find options to deactivate or hide items without fully deleting them. If you have a specific platform or service in mind, providing more details would allow for more precise guidance. |
|
Delete the Repository: Change Repository Ownership: Delete or Edit the Commit: bash Consider Making Repositories Private: Keep in mind that public contributions, especially in open-source projects, are often seen as positive indicators of your skills and experience. If the contribution is part of a public project, removing it may impact the perception of your involvement. It's crucial to understand the implications of making contributions less visible or removing them, as transparency is valued in collaborative development environments. If the contribution is associated with a collaborative project, it's recommended to communicate with the project maintainers or collaborators before taking any action. Remember to check GitHub's documentation or contact GitHub support for the most up-to-date information, as platform features and policies may evolve over time. |

If you've opened an issue in a repository of an organization where you are not a member, and the maintainers/developers are not willing to delete the issue, you still have a few options to address your concern about personal information associated with the organization on your profile: Delete Comments and Edit Content: If your personal information is in the comments or body of the issue, you can edit the comments or body text to remove or modify the information. If you've joined the organization and want to remove your association with it: If you want to hide the contribution from your GitHub profile: If the above options do not meet your needs, you can contact GitHub Support for assistance. They might be able to provide further guidance or assistance with specific cases. If you cloned the repository and contributed from your fork, you may want to consider removing the fork or making it private, as this would also remove the contribution from your GitHub profile. If you still have concerns or encounter difficulties, reaching out to GitHub Support is the best course of action. They can provide guidance on how to handle specific situations and ensure that your privacy concerns are addressed appropriately. |

Hello,
I have created an issue for a repository from an organization I am not a member of.
I have contacted the maintainers/developers from the organization and they did not want to delete my issue, even though it is closed and marked as not planned. I want my personal information not associated with this organization.
Is there any way for me to detach myself from this organization and remove the contribution that appears on my profile?
