Configure registry mirror with basic auth

Is it possible to define a docker registry mirror globally for concourse as mentioned here but with authentification? If so can you send me an example on how to do it? Don't seem to find it in the documentation

You should be able to use the approach at the bottom of the link for any of the registry-image-resource parameters. The registry-mirror setting includes optional username/password fields (see https://github.com/concourse/registry-image-resource), so you can include them alongside the host.
