EdgeX 4.0.2 is released

Hi all,

Just a quick note to announce that EdgeX 4.0.2 is now available 🚀

This releases addresses a number of CVEs that have emerged in the last 6 months since 4.0.1, but also includes the non-breaking changes worked on during the Palau release cycle. The TSC agreed to roll these into this 4.0.2 release.

Key Highlights (all non-breaking):

• ⚡Performance Enhancements: Opt-in message payload performance optimizations (these explicitly need to be turned on)
• 🔄SDK Parity: Crucial work ensuring feature parity between the Go and C Device Service SDKs
• 🛡️Security Threat Model: Updated to describe the V4 architecture

⚠️If you are currently using EdgeX 4.0 or 4.0.1, it is recommended to upgrade to 4.0.2 as soon as possible. Thanks again to the contributing engineers and DevOps team.
