As a small addition: What I noticed is that Elementor seems to use Swiper.js. However, the examples on their official website work a LOT better than what we have in Elementor. As reference: If you just try out any slider there you can immediately see (and FEEL!) that it麓s so much better which is why I麓m wondering why that is. I麓m not a programmer at all but maybe someone has an explanation for that. |

Prerequisites
What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe.
The new nested carousel is very nice but the behaviour on desktop feels very odd. Whenever you try to drag and slide the carousel it feels like it doesn麓t work correctly. I tried it on the phone and it seems to be better there but if you have a nested carousel for your desktop view it should be possible to drag and slide it, too. The autoplay works but even with "autoplay", "Pause on hover" and "Pause on interaction" turned off the behaviour is still the same and feels wrong.
Describe the solution you'd like
In my opinion the best thing to have would be a very modern approach to sliders and also carousels! A website with a carousel I really like is this:
https://themenectar.com/salient/elements/carousel/
As you can see the behaviour feels much more modern compared to the carousel that we have in Elementor. It would be great to have something like this in Elementor, too.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Unfortunately I don麓t see any alternatives here and because the approach that Elementor takes with the nested widgets is already a very good one imo I feel like the carousel should just be improved with the things mentioned.
Additional context
Since I麓m working with Crocoblock as well I know that there麓s pretty much the same discussion going on which is why I link that issue, too. The problems that are mentioned there that exist with the "JetEngine" slider seem to be the same (at least judging by how the slider behaves) and the points that are mentioned there can be transfered to the Elementor carousel, too:
