Dynamic Background Video Link for Sections

Creating a dynamic background video for section same problem as here, #6116 however that post was closed and the solutions in there don't seem to work anymore.
Currently I'm trying to use either an ACF field or a shortcode as a variable. However I've tried acf fields text and text area and also url. When putting the URL in the ACF field, the URL is pulled correctly, tried it in elementor in a standard textfield. However when using it as dynamic tag in the video link, it won't work
