Confusing LLM policy

Hello there !

I recently took a look at the project, and it seems like that despite the recent policy change, LLM usage is still sort of accepted, which I find rather confusing. Is there something I am not understanding correctly surrounding their interaction with the project?

Pull request #12625 clearly shows that AI is not accepted, and so does the following discussion https://github.com/orgs/firefly-iii/discussions/12312. However, despite the policy change to reject LLMs the 05/05 (firefly-iii/docs@d2bd732), some AI generated code still gets accepted 15 days later, in fa6c123 as identified by the Co-Authored-By tag. Finally, the project itself is sponsored by an AI company (firefly-iii/docs@9118cd7) which feels counter-intuitive considering the policy in place.

Indeed. It looks like I simply missed that one merged PR, sorry about that. I will make sure not to miss those in the future.

And with the policy in place, organizations are still free to sponsor Firefly III.

Yeah, although their use comes with many more strings attached that just liability, and quality.
