This is a good idea. Even if it just opens the same link, this achieves the same goal as copying the bot's User ID and pasting it into |
|
Not only that, but the screen we currently have when choosing where to add the bot to, is buggy and partially unusable on mobile, because if I select another community other than what's already selected by default, the screen turns black and I can't do anything further. So that screen needs to be fixed for mobile users using Firefox-like(or Mozilla-based) browsers(which is what I use). |
Uh oh!

Problem
Right now, users can't add a bot directly from its profile inside the app, which causes friction — they have to leave the app entirely and go through a browser flow. Similarly, when a user pastes a bot invite link in chat and taps it, it opens the web browser instead of handling it natively within the app, which causes a broken and slow experience, especially on mobile.
Proposed solution
Add a visible "Add Bot" button directly on bot profile pages inside the Fluxer app, so users can add a bot to their server without ever leaving the app.
Additionally, add in-app invite link interception — when a user pastes or taps a bot invite link inside a chat, it should trigger a native popup/modal (similar to how Discord handles it) that lets the user select a server and authorize the bot directly within the app, instead of redirecting to the web OAuth flow.
