How to resize path without affecting the line width?

Hi, I wanted to ask if there's a way to scale up a path without making the lines thicker. Inkscape has an option to turn on and off the stroke scaling in the toolbar. I was wondering if Friction has something similar or some way of mimicking that behavior.

There is not a tool for editing that but you can take advantage of the expression editor and animate the 'thickness' value having it fixed at your desired size:

Oooh. Thanks for the response. This is exactly what I needed. ⟮⩘ ^∇^⟯⩘ I didn't know Friction has expressions. If I hadn't found this, I would've done something similar where I'd divide the width by the scale at the keyframe.

Also, is there a way to use the parent group's scale as the variable? I know you can use it by using the name of the group, but is there a way to do it using a generic parent variable so I could copy the expression to another group without modifying it?

There is not but I understand it may be useful, I created a PR to add support to that feature, but it has to be @rodlie who accepts/edits/merges it. You could be able to test it with builds at the PR but they won't work on normal Friction versions.
