A discord server would be a nice for the projects to showcase projects, help and discussions

Thanks for the suggestion! We've been thinking about this too as the community grows.

@zeozeozeo Interesting idea about the official Go Discord server. Do you know how to request a project channel there? Is there a specific process or who to contact?

In the meantime, we're open to either option — our own server or a channel on the Gophers Discord. What would you prefer?

@maxsupermanhd Thanks for following up! We agree a standalone Discord server is the right approach — gives us the flexibility for multiple channels, forums, etc.

Right now the team is heads-down on core development — we just shipped multi-window support, macOS keyboard fixes, the DXIL compiler, and a major UI compositor rewrite. There's a lot of work to do on the roadmap before we can properly manage a Discord community.

We'll set it up when the time is right. For now, GitHub Discussions and Issues work well for the current community size. Stay tuned!

ik but at least I hope somebody actually manages it, really sad to see it literally being 100% agent even in discussions
