Uploading PDF ebook + MP3 audio results in inconsistent absorption #1492

there's a fix currently in review for the audio files being added as separate books: #1007 |
|
Just upgraded to Grimmory v3.2.0, and tried again, but with partial success :-( I uploaded a folder via sftp containing the following files/firectories: All this has been saved inside a directory connected to a Grimmmory Library with following Options:
It resulted in three different books being recognized. Success is partial, because now each single dir containg several mp3 files is correctly grouped (better then what was happeining on v3.1.0) as to somehow generate a single audiobook, so now I have those two mp3 audiobooks which are in fact collections of various mp3 files (which in turn are being showed as chapters). I wonder if I'm missing something during the process |
Uh oh!

What are you trying to do?
I tend to upload everything via sftp, using Grimmory's folder watching capability with "one folder for book" setting. I do that with ebooks which have an accompanying audio part (generally split into several mp3 files inside a subdirectory) also.
I expect the pdf file to be considered the primary ebook and the audio files (which are saved inside one or several subdirectories) to be asborbed.
What's happening instead?
Result is inconsistent.
Sometimes the audio files are being asorbed and the result is a single book (with one .pdf and several .mp3 files).
Some other times the audio files are being saved as standalone audio books, everyone on its own, generating several audio books instead of a whole one.
Your setup
Grimmory ver 3.1
Docker compose
Debian Trixie
Anything else that might help?
I started noticing this inconsistent behaviour after inspecting a recent series of uploads; not sure at the moment if there's a pattern.
I'm going to generate a few case scenarios and look into the logs to try and isolate any possible cause from my (a user) perspective.
