Add option to upload newer versions of the book in upload additional file

What would you like to improve?

In each book, there is an option to upload additional file like alternative format or supplement file. It would be nice to have an option to upload a newer version of the book to replace the original file and apply the metadata from original file to the newer one.

I keep a lot of ttrpg book and a lot of time the book need to be updated for typo, errata.

What's the current friction?

Replaced the file directly and manually added the missing metadata.

What would make this better?

Remove the needed to do some process manually and can just do it through grimmory page.

Couldn't you upload the new file as an additional file, and then update that book's primary file to the new one before deleting it? Or would using Sidecar metadata not enable this for you as well?

To do this, you need to change your library so it generates unique filenames when uploading; otherwise, the upload will error with a message that the file already exists. I did this in mine by switching to the "Original Filename" pattern.
