Echoing this request. It's the last thing that's preventing Home Assistant from being truly perfect for me. I'm on iOS |

Describe the feature
I would like the Home Assistant Companion App to support custom HTTP request headers. This would allow users to add one or more headers to requests sent from the app to their Home Assistant instance. This is especially useful when Home Assistant is behind a reverse proxy, access gateway, or protection layer that expects a trusted header for authenticated app access.
Use cases
I use Home Assistant behind a protected endpoint. In some cases, services like Cloudflare or other reverse-proxy/security layers can block or challenge app traffic, which makes the companion app unable to connect normally. If the app supported custom headers, I could integrate it cleanly with my existing access-control setup without removing the protection layer or relying on fragile workarounds. In daily use, this would improve reliability for remote dashboard access and general app connectivity.
Examples
Similar setups already rely on header-based authentication or validation at the proxy layer, and previous community requests have also asked for custom request headers in the iOS app.
