Describe the feature
Please add an optional Apple Health sensor for daily Stand Hours in the iOS Companion App’s Apple Health Sensors (Labs) catalog, and expose the daily Stand goal when HealthKit provides it. This would let Home Assistant show accurate Stand-ring progress using the person’s current value and goal.
Apple documents these values in HKActivitySummary (appleStandHours and appleStandHoursGoal/standHoursGoal) and the appleStandHour category type:
Please follow the existing per-sensor opt-in and sensor update behavior.
Use cases
People building personal activity dashboards in Home Assistant can see daily Stand progress alongside other Apple Health data and use it in automations. Both the current hours and the person’s daily target are needed; a fixed goal would make the ring misleading. Keeping this sensor optional per device preserves user choice.
