Exporting diagrams to HTML

The documentation states that the above is possible using the Team Workspaces version of ilograph.

Is the HTML just a 'static' diagram that is no more than a screenshot of one of the perspectives at a chosen level of detail? Or does it embed the fully dynamic/interactive, multi-perspective diagram that developers see in ilograph itself?

Hi, it's the latter. Exported HTML diagrams retain all the app's interactive functionality. These files can be hosted on private web servers for internal sharing.

Ilograph Desktop has the same export feature if you'd like to test it out (Ilograph Desktop has a 14-day free trial).

Thanks Billy, Thats excellent that ilograph diagrams can be published in their full interactive glory. Thanks also for tip on the free trial for Ilograph Desktop - I'd like to try it out at some point, especially the html export feature.

Its really good that Ilograph Desktop provides for 'on prem' customers who do not wish to save their data to the cloud, however the wording from the 'Ilograph Desktop' page (see below) gives me pause for thought, as it suggests this product will not work unless there is internet access. This is a shame, as it would prohibit the use case where a customer required to use it on a high-security air-gapped network:

Once activated, Ilograph Desktop does not require internet access.

If I'm correct about that, is there a way around this problem?

Hi, good question. The short answer is yes, there is a workaround. "Activation" means retrieving a valid license for an individual machine from Ilograph's license server. The app normally (that is, when it has internet access) does this itself, but with a bit of technical know-how the license file can instead be retrieved using an outside machine.

Update on offline activation: as of 2.2.4 there is a workflow for offline activation built into the app. Please see the docs for a step-by-step guide on how it works.
