Even if the channel broadcasts in 1080p quality, it is still SD if the logo does not indicate it.

Unfortunately in a lot of cases this is not true.

SD feed usually means that the broadcast is in 576i or 480i (depends on the country). If the broadcast is in 720p or 1080i, it is definitely the HD feed.
