There's no promised timeline in the README, but recent history gives a good idea. Looking at the last 40 merged PRs in this repo, the median time from opening to merge was about 3 days. Half were merged within roughly 1 to 7 days, and the faster ones in under a day. There are 11 open PRs at the moment, so it depends a bit on the queue.

To avoid it taking longer, double-check the "will not be merged if" list in the README before or while you wait. A PR that needs changes usually goes back to the end of the line after you update it.
