Recurring Live TV Recording

[theDoz12]

It would be nice if there was an option to automatically record a channel at a specific time, like every mon 8:30-10:30 of that channel. Also extra thing, record all the shows with a key name in the epg (for example, if I want to record all the tennis matches, I can specify ATP or a keyword so it starts recording all the related events)

The first half mostly exists already as a series recording. Open the program in the guide → Record series → edit the series timer:

• Channels: One channel keeps it on that channel.
• Air time: keep the "around the original time" option instead of Anytime. The server cancels any showing that starts more than 10 minutes away from the original slot (ShouldCancelTimerForSeriesTimer in DefaultLiveTvService.cs).

So if the Monday 8:30 slot carries the same program title each week, that gives you "this channel, this time, every week."

The catch is that series timers match by the guide's series ID, or by exact program name when there's no series ID (GetTimersForSeries). Keyword rules like "anything with ATP in the title" aren't supported, and neither is a pure time-slot recording that ignores the title. Those would be real features, so this is a good place to collect votes for them.
