Hi all. I’m currently using a community build Molly/Signal tool while I wait for the official Light tool. It’s working great, but I am not receiving any notifications in Light OS itself. Just wondering, was UnifiedPush rolled out in the last update, and if so, how would I go about setting it up in this instance? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It should be available in LightOS, but we've only done basic smoke tests for it on our own molly fork. Can I ask which one you're using? we might be able to work with them to get it up and running.

Hi guy, thanks for the reply. I’m using this one (https://awesome-light.garado.dev/apps/jabberbox_molly-light/). I linked it to a Mollysocket (https://mollysocket.fsky.io/) and tested. Messages are coming through to Molly no problem, just no notification on Home/Lock screen in Light OS. If the official one is landing soon, it’s not a huge issue, but if that one is going to take a while I’d like to explore a way to fix it.

pps, other info that might be helpful:

I have delivery set to UnifiedPush. The UnifiedPush status page shows:
Status: OK
Distributor: LightOS
MollySocket: https://mollysocket.fsky.io/
Messages arrive and appear immediately when I open Molly, but no notification is shown in LightOS.
I also checked through ADB. Molly’s Messages notification channel is registered at high importance, and Android’s notification service shows that Molly is posting notifications. Some entries appear as intercepted with !priority. I can send the full dumpsys notification output if useful.

oh cool that's actually working as expected at the moment!
We haven't published a version of LightOS that actually shows notifs from external tools. In progress!

Ah cool, that explains it then! I’ll sit tight. Hopefully the official Light version is ready soon, too.
