Bluetooth keyboard support for LP III

I understand that the LP III does not currently support external Bluetooth keyboards.

Could you clarify whether:

• LightOS already has Bluetooth HID keyboard support at the Android level, but does not currently route that input into LightOS;
• an SDK Tool could pair with a Bluetooth keyboard and receive keyboard input while the Tool is open;
• system-wide Bluetooth keyboard support for native Tools such as Messages and Notes is planned or would require additional LightOS development?

Yes, you can technically connect a Bluetooth HID device, but the events are currently not hooked up to LightOS' text input.|

I don't we're going to offer any pairing UX at the tool level -> that will all still happen in LightOS. BUT We are going to allow tools to intercept key events and do what they want with them. I'm actually hooking this up now.

Correct, unfortunately. We're hoping we can easily hook this up when we migrate to our new keyboard within LightOS, but we're also not going to prioritize it very highly at the moment.

Good news here, I've had to handle a bunch of KeyEvent routing stuff in order to get the hardware buttons to work within community tools, and external keyboard support fell out of that pretty naturally. The LP3 keyboard will auto-capture key events as of version 0.0.15. That will be available to use with community tools (hopefully) next week. We've been testing the new keyboard within LightOS internally and I think we're almost ready to get that out to everybody. External keyboard works there too! And it may depend on keyboard, but I'm able to connect a BT keeb right through the normal LightOS Bluetooth settings.
