Closed lid shuts down pc

On my laptop I am currently using deepin OS the newest version and when I close the lid instead of suspending it shuts down my pc and later when I open it all unsaved files will be gone and its a really big issue for me. How do I fix it?

Sorry for the late reply. Related settings might require proper ACPI/driver support. You might want to check your system journal log and see if anything went wrong.

I have realized that this is my laptops physical problem so if I want to close the lid I need to suspend first. Thank you for the reply
