I would love to see an automatic tiling window manager like the "pop!_os shell" extension (for Gnome), but one that works for the cinnamon desktop.
The current window tiling is ok, but the way the "pop!_os shell" extension works really improves the workflow (imo ofc).
Open 1 app - auto fullscreen
Open 2 apps - auto resize the fullscreen app to half (of your desktop) and place the new app window on the other half
Open 3 apps - main app stays half screen (left) and the new app is being added to the right half where the two apps are now (automatically) split horizontally.
Close any of the apps and the remaining apps auto resize back to the previous state.
And you can turn it off if you don't like it.
I just hope that one day something like this can be implemented for cinnamon.
