Cinnamon Menu width. Need slightly wider menu item columns

I've looked into the theme file as well as apples.js. I don't see a way to make the start menu wider. The new 22.3 mint release seems a bit crowded and will cut off some of the longer App titles in the menu list. It feels even more crowded with application descriptions enabled. That text is also cut off. I'd like to make the menu and menu items wider so I can see more of those clipped titles. maybe it's in the cinnamon.css and I'm just not adding the css correctly?

With that said, it would be handy to have menu sizing options included in the configuration/appearance options. There exists options for the icon sizes.
