There have been a deluge of LLM-assisted contributions of varying levels of quality. What isn't known is which of these will actually be maintained long-term or if they are (as in many of the existing cases), already unmaintained before the pull requests are opened. The ratio of LLM-assisted contributions to review time is also highly skewed out of favor of the reviewers. Short-term, patience is probably the best bet. Spices end up directly on the machines of end users so quality and security are far more important than expedited reviews. |

I asked about this on the LM forums ("Cinammon" subforum), and was pointed here... The subject line sums it up, but here are the details:
Back on 21 August (so getting on for two months ago), I submitted a pull-request for a little desklet I made with some AI assistance.
It just displays the number of the current workspace on the desktop, with a couple of feature and display options. I think I've done everything necessary as far as checks go, but it's just languishing.
I'm happy to be patient! But if there was something I ought to be doing, but missed, it would be a help to have that pointed out.
Thanks!
