How can I make my list properly indented?

What's wrong with my marktext? I used to wrap a list, press enter, and then press backspace to delete small dots in the list while saving indentation, just like in Word. But now pressing enter will only make my indentation disappear, and I unable to use the secondary list. If I directly use tabs for indentation, anything I input will become a code block. Is there an error in my settings?
