We recently upgraded our applications to the latest Quarkus LTS 3.33, and I was debugging an error when starting the application in dev mode, facing an error ERROR [io.quarkus.deployment.dev.IsolatedDevModeMain] (main) Failed to start quarkus: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/junit/rules/TestRule.
Digging a bit, we are facing some incompatibility between Quarkus versions: Microcks currently uses the version 3.20.1, which relies on Junit 5 and Testcontainers 1, while Quarkus moved on to Junit 6 and Testcontainers 2 (see https://quarkus.io/blog/quarkus-3-31-released/#junit-6-and-testcontainers-2), so the TestRule which a Junit 4 class is not longer available in our classpath.
So I was wondering if it would make sense to migrate Microcks to the 3.33 LTS, as 3.20 is EOL, and 3.27 is soon EOL too (and also to a JDK 21 or 25).
I spotted changes to be done at least in microcks-quarkus and microcks-testcontainers-java, but I guess there would be more.
