YouTube feeds giving errors every night

I've been dealing with a strange behavior where every morning I open Miniflux and I'll have a random number of my YouTube feeds (usually 15+ feeds, not always the same ones) that have gone into an error state with some saying feed can't be reached, etc. but when I force refresh all feeds they immediately refresh and new videos show up. Does anyone else have this issue? The logs aren't giving me anything to go by as to why it happens. Throughout the day they are totally fine pulling in new videos on their update schedule, but some time in the middle of the night some will go into an error state.

Any advice on how to further investigate would be greatly appreciated.

I've the same issue. All my YouTube feeds regularly end-up in error.

But this also means that if the service is flaky, like the YT issues we have here, and it fails once, it will take another week to check it, or?

Yes that could happen...

This morning i have some feed in error, even if i force refresh. And i can see that i get a 404 if i visit the feed in my browser: https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCE38FJeWDQ-ViY6buSKWoJg

So that's definitely not related to miniflux, multiple simultaneous refresh, rate-limit or whatever. That's just a YouTube infrastructure bug...

Yeah, I'm running into the same issue, which led me to this thread to begin with. And then you've mentioned one refresh a week... Which I like in principle, why poll every 30 mins if a channel posts one video a week? But that only works if the service isn't flaky. I feel like this setting is solving another issue, like you've pointed out. I don't know if the solution would be some exponential back-off retry logic or if there are any other good ways (other than YT fixing their stuff...).
