The keywords frontmatter field is described inconsistently across two pages:
Organize → Pages says keywords helps users "discover a specific page in search results" and that these keywords "don't appear in page content" — implying it affects the site's own internal search.
Optimize → SEO says keywords feeds the page's generated structured data/JSON-LD "for external search engines," and separately states internal documentation search is excluded only via hidden, noindex, or searchable — implying keywords has no role in internal search at all.
Ask: Please clarify whether keywords affects internal site search/AI-assistant retrieval, external SEO only, or both — and update both pages to say the same thing consistently.
Related question: Does a custom robots string value (e.g. robots: "noindex") trigger the same internal-search/AI-assistant exclusion as the boolean noindex: true field, or is robots purely a rendered meta tag with no internal-search side effect? This distinction isn't addressed on either page.
