Those aren't tremolo markings - they are one of the various different notation MuseScore supports for indicating half notes in tablature. If you prefer a different notation, you can select a different preset for the staff in the Layout panel, or you can customize further in Staff/Part properties / Advanced style properties. In the future, when you have questions about MuseScore, it is best to ask for help on the Support forum first, and then only open issues here if something is confirmed by other experienced users as a bug. But it is worth considering whether MuseScore shoould perhaps default to a different style for GP import. |

Uh oh!

I didn't add that tremolo marking, and when I delete the note completely and add it in again, the tremolo appears again. It only appears on the tablature, and not the standard notation, which is doubly weird.
When I select the stem and press delete on my keyboard, nothing happens (when I use the multiselect function, it simply labels it as the note stem, no mention of the tremolo marking). I'm unable to select just the tremolo marking, unlike with the non-bugged tremolo markings elsewhere on the score. I have lots of other tremolo notes in the score which are able to have their tremolos removed and added as desired, but they look slightly different from the ones in question:
There are instances where normal tremolos appear on the same stem as the bugged one (and you can clearly see that they're different shapes), and again you can see that the real/intended tremolo appears on the standard notation but the bugged one is only on the tab:
I tab in Guitar Pro because I'm an order of magnitude faster with that program, then I import the tab into MuseScore because the output is much nicer.
Can anything be done about this? As I said, I tried deleting and retyping the note, which doesn't help, and I'm officially all out of ideas 😆
Cheers!
