Sync already playing content

Apologies if this has been posted already, but couldn't find anything in my search.
Is there any way to be able to see content that is already playing. I currently have MA synced with Spotify as the only music provider. Often I will start music on one of my Chromecast/Spotify Cast speakers or speaker groups, but then want to be able to control that from HA. Is this possible in its current form, or is there already a feature request for this? I have the Spotify HA integration already setup, which is great because it provides badges and dashboard cards to show what is already playing. I'd like to be able to set the click action of these dashboard views to open Music Assistant to control what's already playing. I've also tried manually selecting the speaker that the music is already playing on, but this still doesn't present the music.

You can use a media player card of some description and specify the MA player (to be clear you need the integration installed)

I'm not sure what you mean. I want to be able to use MA player to see media that was started somewhere else. Probably directly from the Spotify app on my computer or phone. The Spotify HA integration works this way, if I start music from the Spotify app the HA integration media player cards will populate that info. But since MA does not, MA provides no ability to take control of already playing media. This is the ask.

I don't think this addresses OP's ask, that is for title/artwork issues. I am also looking for a solution to OP's question.

If I start music on a player outside of music assistant (voice assistant/cast/airplay) it is not reflected in Music Assistant. This works correctly for HA players/card, but not MA Players.
