Hi, I have an automation for my kid's bedtime that:
What ends up happening: Then I need to play some specific the kid wants, it's not in the playlist, I play it using Apple Music app onto the HomePod The result: the automation playlist is playing, and the Apple Music song is playing over it. There are UI bugs where the HomePod is clearly playing the playlist, but the Home ASSISTANT Music app isn't registering this, so I can't stop it. If I stop the add on, the music on the HomePod stops. I had a music file that was 14mins, I cut the song to 2 mins, Plex updated instantly. Home Assistant Music after 2 days is still showing 14 mins version -- both HAM and Plex use the same folder as source. I feel like I'm being gaslit. Because I keep adding songs to what I think is the automation playlist but that playlist doesn't show the newly added songs. The worst offender: deleting something from a playlist doesn't delete it. I need to clear the cache, feels like some early 2000s era Internet thing where clearing cache after changes is SOP |

MA isn't aware if you play something from a different app. You should clear the queue for the player if you want to play from the Apple Music app. It is very unusual that the duration of a track would change so it wouldn't surprise me if this isn't currently supported As for the playlists have you been pressing the refresh icon https://www.music-assistant.io/ui/#view-artist-album-track |

MA uses the modification timestamp to determine if a file is to be updated. You will need to look to see if that was changed when you cut the file down. Duration is updated IF the file is scanned.
