Plex Connect: How does Listenbrainz scrobbling work, when configured for a specific MA user?

Thanks for the Plex Connect plugin, it's great to be able to successfully use an app like Plexamp with my Sonos speakers!

One thing I am confused about is how Listenbrainz scrobbling works. My setup:

• Music Assistant 2.7.6 (installed as Home Assistant add-on)
• Providers:
  • Plex (local user auth)
  • Plex Connect, set up for one Sonos device
• Listenbrainz Scrobbler plugin configured, with "Scrobble for users" set to a single MA account

In a scenario where I am using Plexamp to play content to my speaker via the MA Plex Connect plugin, what MA user context (if any) gets used? And how does that interact with triggering a Listenbrainz scrobble?

What I am seeing:

• Some scrobbles have appeared, but not every song consistently. In the example below, 3 songs out of 8 songs appeared.
• While signed into Listenbrainz, I do see "Listening now" shows what is playing, but those songs don't always show up in the history

So my main question is: what's expected here? I feel like no plays should show up, since I don't see how when playing songs this way they would get associated with an individual MA user. But I wouldn't have been surprised to see everything or nothing -- seeing a few was unexpected. I feel like at some point this will turn into a feature request, since it feels like there will need to be an optional way to tie a Plex Connect entity to a specific user, but it's tough to know what functionality to request without understanding how this works right now.
