Navigate to Party screen with a button

In the docs here https://www.music-assistant.io/plugins/party/#user-interface it says that you can navigate to the party screen using /party.

When using this in a button it seems to do nothing. I first used this in a mushroom card but switched to a default lovelace button card and its still not working.

  navigation_path: /party

Rereading the docs right now i see the verbiage is "Access via /party in the Music Assistant interface"

Does this mean that I can't have a button in the HA interface redirect me directly to the party screen? My setup for this is a raspi connected to a small display, dashboard runs in a browser. My goal would be to have a button to get me to the party screen (an idea how to easily navigate back would be appreciated).

Did you try navigating to the full URL. http://YOUR_MA_IP:8095/party

This did not work for me. I also tried as noted below

This opens a new tab asking me to sign in, once i do it closes the tab and returns me to my dashboard.
