I use music Assistant to stream to several AirPlay receivers, but when I look at all such players in MA, they all also have Sendspin enabled. Why? Seems to me that Sendspin is an alternative to AirPlay and can play no part in streaming over AirPlay to AP speakers/receivers. Apple AirPort Expresses etc have no Sendspin code and hence cannot receive a Sendspin stream. So is there any point in those AirPlay receivers having Sendspin enabled? |

Yes it is a bridge that is created to allow those AirPlay devices to be synced to other sendspin devices or other devices (such as cast) that have their own bridges. |

Yes it should not hurt anything leaving that enabled and it will provide additional functionality that you may use in the future.
