Sonic Analysis not only running when playing back songs

Hi I have just setup Music Assistant. In the process i switched provider backend from Jellyfin to Navidrome (since I saw that the Jellyfin provider in MA was not maintained anymore).
In my settings panel I see that sonic analysis has run on 2 songs only (perhaps played in the very beginning where I used the Jellyfin provider).
I have no issues playing back media using the subsonic provider.
I see in the settings that analysis is scheduled during night time and is reported succeeded.
In the Audio Analysis card it looks like it has run on 2 songs and is not intending to analyse more files (I have around 2500 songs served by Navidrome)
Am I missing something?

I am running MA v2.19 using docker.
My cpu is an n100.
I have 32gb RAM

The nightly scan only accesses the local file system provider. For your case the scans will happen when a track is played.

edit: If you don't have a specific use case for Navidrome then use the local file system provider instead

Followup question, if I add a local library will I be able to keep the navidrome integration on the side? I see that playlists are synced between symfonium into navidrome into MA.

Yes they should all get linked if they are tagged well so you wont see duplicates.But if you are keeping Navidrome and that is working OK then you might want to just use that. I'm not sure I have heard any comments from someone running both providers long term

I guess my main problem with having navidrome as the only provider is that I cannot analyse as a background job.

Its a conundrum to be sure. Try both side by side and see how you go
