around 7 feeds because the list of available feeds for selection in the dialogue box in the widgets panel widget becomes so long that the check box to confirm settings is no longer visible which also prevents the user from confirming their selections- hence the suggestion for a scroll bar as a potential solution. Also, Sometimes the glancerss configuration application does not accept valid rss feed links on the first try as shown in the video. Sometimes I had to click around and attempt multiple times. |

can you share that url. the error message means the feed is invalid. Curious what causes that |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXVCJOL5E2A The feeds are definitely valid though because the configuration accepted them after a couple tries and they show up on the feed. I have no idea what causes those issues, I don't have any coding experience, I can only provide you qa/bug information. |

yea i saw that indeed that after few attempts it did work. That is strange so would like to try the rss my self to see why it gives that error message |

Hello.
I'm currently demoing glancerss via free trial. There are some bugs. I currently use windows insider preview builds. I am utilize the brand new widget panel flyout that was visually updated to match the other flyout menus such as the start menu, quick settings and notifications.
When there are 7 or more individual glanceRSS widget feeds set, the checkmark box for determining the settings for each widget set is not visible in the dialogue box when altering the settings for each widget setting. Once the list becomes 7 or more, unable to confirm settings as there is no scroll bar in the settings box. This artificially limits how many individual glanceRSS widgets you may place on the widgets panel to just 6 or 7. Please add a scroll bar so that users can place as many glanceRSS widgets on the widgets panel as they want.
Some settings are unable to be saved unless the widget size is set to large and then resized afterwards. I suspect this is due there being no scroll bar in the dialogue box when there are several rss feeds to choose from. Please as a scroll bar.
The "hero" feature does not work, at least not with reddit subreddits. It just shows blank space where an image should be. I have yet to see any pictures apear for any feeds.
Settings sometimes don't apply at all. I'll manually edit the settings, check the box/click ok. Nothing happens. It still tells me to configure the individual glanceRSS widget. I re-enter the configuration. Sometimes it will take to the settings, sometimes it will just show the widget on the panel with the widget configuration dialogue still open. Leaving the widgets panel sometimes fixes it. Sometimes it takes a few tries.
I like the direction your product is heading in. I think it can be great. Please make it so there is no artificial widget limit, add a scroll bar to the widget settings dialogue box and make it so configuring each glanceRSS widget placed on the feed takes to being configured on the first try. Also, see if you can get those images to show up. If there is a specific widget test feed I can use to see if the feature works correctly, feel free to let me know so I can test it.
