Obsidian follow_link opens a picker for only one file

I recently discovered that this project had been moved to a community repo, and have been working on getting switched over. I already love a lot of the changes that have been made.

When I attempt to follow a link, either by using the smart_action or :Obsidian follow_link, and the target file is unambiguous, I still get a picker, populated with two identical entries, both to the same file and location.

I currently have these options set:

    -- where to put new notes
    new_notes_location = 'notes_subdir',
    note_id_func = function(title) return title end,

    -- links
    wiki_link_func = 'use_alias_only',
    preferred_link_style = 'wiki',
