Topics discussed today were:

• Improving alignment with the CETS CryoET standard: TomoBabel data model, CryoET-Geometry repo. @cossorzano proposes using the CETS data model within the tomography acquisition section, and will propose to the CETS working group using OSC-EM as the data format for serializing CETS data.
• The OSCEM paper is nearing completion. It was decided to submit it to Acta Crystallographica Section D: Structural Biology, which has strong readership among EM researchers. @sbliven will prepare figures and format for Acta before the June meeting. Authors should add their affiliations and ORCIDs.
• We should advocate for inclusion of OSC-EM in more tools, especially those already preparing automatic deposition (Doppio, Relion, AreTOMO, etc). Scipion export is implemented and will be added to a future release (when?).
• EBI provides an mmcif validator for OneDep depositions. The oscem-converter-mmcif should test that mmCIF output passes validation.
