Google Photos

Hi,

Do you have plans for Google Photos integration?
Which the frame will import pictures directly from selected Albums ?

Highly appreciated

Hi @alkandery75

A Google Photos integration is a good idea. I've added it to the roadmap.

Here is a first workflow draft:

• Select Google Photos integration
• Connect to Google (same as Google Calendar, allow for multiple connections, e.g. use different Google Accounts for different devices in the same organization?)
• Select album OR Select photos
• Optional: Analyze photos for autoselecting LUT for better dithering
• If multiple images: Should this become some kind of (slow) slideshow?

Let me know if you have any other ideas!

Google Photos will be impossible to integrate because google stopped the access to your private Data via API.

Google stopped access to data that is not uploaded by the app itself. This means your content from google photos is no longer visible via API

Hello!

Have you reconsidered Google Photos integration now that Google provides the Ambient API specifically for digital photo frames?

Thank you

I agree and would skip this feature for now. For public albums there might be the possiblity to use some kind of crawler in the future. But this would be always subject to change.
