Hello paradedb team !!

I just discovered your work on the iceberg table section, which works wonderfully and is surprisingly easy to install.

I'd like to be sure that the pg_analytics section will be available again in the pg_search extension or elsewhere, because I admit that it's not very clear about the rest and there's nothing in the pg_search documentation about iceberg table acces.

Hi @Roms0707. Thank you for your kind words!

We don't plan to bring the Iceberg reading functionality into pg_search. We will be squarely focusing on "on-disk" analytics. That said, you will still be able to use pg_analytics despite being archived, and there are other projects like pg_duckdb which might enable you to do that.
