TiDB v7.5.8 — released on September 17, 2026
TiDB v7.5.8 adds a
storelabel to thepd_cluster_statusmetric, making it easier to identify affected TiKV stores and aggregate cluster-wide PD status. The maintenance release also fixes several operational issues, including excessive CPU consumption during query planning, a potential asynchronous statistics-loading panic for newly added indexes, and a race that could crash TiDB while cleaning up a UNION query.TiProxy v1.3.3 — released on September 16, 2026
TiProxy v1.3.3 adds more flexible load-balancing controls, including configurable balance factors, routing policies, migration speed, and CPU-based balancing. It also improves failover and memory management, with new protections and metrics for better reliability and observability.

ti)TiDB Cloud CLI (
ti) is a new automation-oriented command-line interface for managing TiDB Cloud Starter instances and file systems in TiDB Cloud Filesystem. Connect through IPv6 and cross-region AWS PrivateLink
Available on: TiDB Cloud Dedicated (on AWS)
Availability: Upon request
TiDB Cloud Dedicated now supports inbound IPv6 connectivity over AWS PrivateLink. After TiDB Cloud Support enables the feature, you can switch a TiDB node group to dual-stack and create a dual-stack AWS interface endpoint, while IPv4 connectivity remains available.
You can also create an AWS interface endpoint in one region and privately connect it to a TiDB Cloud Dedicated cluster in another region using the same connection string. A cross-region PrivateLink service fee applies for each added region. Removing a region does not affect existing connections.

Detect bursts of slow SQL statements
Available on: TiDB Cloud Premium
TiDB Cloud Premium adds three built-in alert rules that notify you when more than 20 SQL statements exceed a latency threshold of 256 ms, 512 ms, or 4096 ms within one minute. The rules help identify periods when unusually large numbers of SQL statements are running slowly, rather than focusing only on a single slow statement.

Filter Premium audit logs and review operational events
Available on: TiDB Cloud Premium
TiDB Cloud Premium now supports audit filter rules based on SQL user, event class, table, and execution status, helping organizations capture the database activities relevant to their security and compliance requirements. If no filter rules are configured, no audit events are written.
The Events page is also available for Premium instances. It records event type, status, message, trigger time, and trigger user, with event data retained for seven days.
