A preprint server for web-native manuscripts

Hey everybody, I built Scroll Press (https://scroll.press), a preprint archive for web-native papers, and figured it might be relevant here since a lot of you already publish HTML with Quarto. The idea is that your rendered Quarto doc can be a real, citable preprint with permanent hosting, archiving, and a DOI, rather than just sitting wherever you happened to host it with no DOI attached. You upload the HTML/JS/CSS and that's it. Example here.

Happy to do the work for anyone too: if you've got a Quarto paper you'd like turned into a hosted, citable preprint, I'll get it up for you, for free. Curious what people think.

Did you try to publish manuscript project type which include supplementary files, such as notebooks in addition to HTML?

Yes, this works. Scroll Press takes a .zip of the whole rendered manuscript, not just a single HTML file, so a Quarto manuscript project goes up intact.
