Multi-filter on a single column (AND / OR within a column)

Today a column takes one filter clause. Sometimes you want two on the same column - "contains foo OR contains bar", or a range that's really two conditions. This adds AND/OR within a single column.

Do you hit this often, and is OR or AND the more common need for you?
