Custom calendar systems for the date editor (Hijri, Buddhist, fiscal-year, custom holidays)

The date / datetime / time editors ship as editorTypes on the Gregorian calendar. This would let them speak other systems - Hijri, Buddhist, fiscal-year, custom holiday sets.

If you need a non-Gregorian calendar, which one - and is it for input, display, or both?
