Logging for items created for managed state

I have situation where I am calling manage followedby my logger setup. The items instantiated and passed to manage have logging in them, but its not logged because the logger isnt setup yet. Its a sort of chicken and egg situation.

        .menu(tauri::Menu::os_default(&context.package_info().name))
        .manage(AppState {
            example: Thing::new() // this logs stuff
        })
        .plugin(
            LoggerBuilder::new()
                .rotation_strategy(RotationStrategy::KeepAll)
                .max_file_size(4000)
                .targets([LogTarget::LogDir, LogTarget::Stdout, LogTarget::Webview])
                .with_colors(ColoredLevelConfig {
                    error: Color::Red,
                    warn: Color::Yellow,
                    debug: Color::White,
                    info: Color::BrightGreen,
                    trace: Color::Cyan,
                })
                .build(),
        )
        .run(context)
        .expect("error while running tauri application");

Is there any way around this? Since we cant mutate the state, I don't think this is simple.

You can call app.manage() in the setup callback, the logger will be active then

        .setup(|app| {
            app.manage(AppState {
                // stuff in here
            });

            Ok(())
        })
