It seems easy to me and it would fix a few issues:

Add a text field where I can enter a command to be executed after an upscale. Say, %of% for original filename and %nf% for the new filename, and once and upscayl finishes, that line is executed, be it a command or a batch file with several commands with these 2 parameters.

It would add an easy way to add features that upscayl is never going to add, such as metadata copy (exiftool), date, time, conversion, even upload.

Right now I use a tool I wrote myself that tracks directory changes but this is hard to come by for most users.
